1982 911SC Targa barn find. Need some help people.

I checked out a 1982 911 SC Targa in Inderschot Red today & made a deal with the owner. Do to medical conditions he can not drive it & it has sat for the past two years & collected quite a bit of dust.. Before it was garaged it had ran just fine with no known issues. However, there is an oil leak that caused a good amount to come out. I didn’t try to start it today in fear of damaging the motor. He is selling it to me for a very, very, very fair price that I do not want to publicly disclose yet though. Right now I’m here for some help of what to look for tomorrow when I go back & possibly bring it home.

FIRST OFF, heres some photos :-)

1.) The car has sat for 2.5 years & has the battery tethered the entire time & started occasionally. After I fill it with oil tomorrow I’ll attempt to start it for a few seconds to hear how it runs but not too long because I’m sure by now the gas is bad. Anything I should check for before starting it?

2.) There is an oil leak coming from the passenger side of the motor between what seems the center of the motor & the rear bumper. Is this a common issue? what should I look for?

3.) There is a couple drops of trans fluid on the bottom of the trans. Is this something to worry about?

4.) I couldn’t find the option sticker under the frunk carpet today, can anyone tell me where exactly it is?

5.) Only known maintenance I could find was a $1400 receipt for valve adj, fuel distributor, ect. Photo will be attached.

This car is original everything.. I mean 79k actual miles, original paint, radio, noncracked dash, non torn seats, Fuchs, spotless body panels, paint. Everything. It will very much be worth what I’m getting it for, I’m just not too familiar with the 3.0SC so can any give me some insight on basic maintenance & what to do right after i get it? I’ve owned an all original 45k mile 944 turbo for 2 years now & have done all the work & maintenance to it myself at 21 years old. Clutch, belts, water pump, ect. What are the common maintenance issues with the 3.0SC?

Basically, I just want to know what I’m getting myself into. Any help or insight will help! Thanks
