Chrome Exhaust Tip
I have a chrome exhaust tip that has some dimples on it, I assume to hold it on. The question is, how do I slip it on the exhaust pipe? It is a very tight fit and I can't seem to get the tip dimples onto the pipe to hold it place securely. Any ideas?

Bigger Hammer?
Seriously, use some soft lumber and try taping it on, it sounds like it's a friction fit style? Otherwise, have a friend hold the tip against a concrete wall with something soft in between and back up until the desired length of tip is exposed. You will need a very loyal friend for this approach. Hah ha
