Fuel pump questions
After a strong fuel smell problem this is a good news / bad news post, after replacing the fuel lines involved around the vapor recovery system up top I was getting ready to replace the fuel line between the tank and the pump when I found the leak. It's coming from the top end of the pump, most likely it's the pump itself but it may be from the check valve at the pump output.
I suspect the pump is the culprit. My research has found the p/n for the pump to be 0.580.464.021 for a '88 911 Cab (3.2 and pump in front behind tank). Thanks for the help, Bill W.

Cap nut torque needed
Does anyone have the touque specs. for the cap nut that holds the output fuel line on the pump. The Bentley manual has the torque specs for everything from the elect. conn. nuts to the hose clamp screws but not the most important one to me, the fuel line cap nut! :-/
Thanks, Bill W.
