Securing rear shelf

Could someone explain or take a photo of how the upholstered rear shelf is attached to the underlying support. Pretty sure mine is not OEM. There are 4 screws on the vertical section which are the only fasteners. Nothing on the top section where the speakers attach. During a hard brake during my last "spirited" drive the whole the thing slide forward and is now not secured.

Trying to understand how it should be.

Thanks
Chris

There should be a center mounted clip on the back of the shelf
which attaches to the body of the car.

You first attach the clip, then the screws.

Here are a few pics on the next post.

I am just switching out rear speakers. In picture above it looks like parcel shelf piece is separated from the vertical piece - I think these two pieces are / should be glued together - see below picture. Also, between the speakers is an ~ 2" x 2" x 14" piece of dense foam. When installed using clip, 4 vertical screws, the foam helps to keep the shelf secure, wedged in below rear glass seal and prevents any rattling.
