New linkage bushings installed problem
 

1984 911 cab. Finished installing shift linkage bushings and new coupler. Having a minor problem down shifting from fourth to third. Prior to installing the bushings it was an easy straight down shift but now the shifter is getting blocked some in the neutral position. Not sure which way to move the coupler to see an improvement. Any help would be appreciated.

Do the adjustment procedure again but this time as someone to help you old the shifter in place as you tighten. It literally is a hair off.

If we had a third arm, it would really help doing this adjustment. My wifey helped me, boy she is stronger then she appears :D
