Yup - I got H-1's for $60
After a slight delay in getting to the post office, I picked up my eBay headlights today. They're in H-4 boxes but the contents were definately H-1's. It appears that they were take offs from a car because they had a stripped head on one of the screws. Other than that they look great. Lens' are free of chips and cracks, reflectors are nice and brights as is the chrome. Man, am I happy!

Oddly enough, the eBay username suggested that they are a German Auto repair specialist
![]() They also had a few Mercedes and BMW parts up at for auction the same time Odd to say the least Andrew M 1970 911T

i went to a vw swap meet last fall on move in day and as i was ready to leave, i saw a guy take a couple of lights out of his bus and set them by the wall. they looked kind of familiar. hmmm, H1s with one lens broken. nice chrome rings. hey how much do you want for these? oh, $25. yeah, ok, i'll take 'em. big grin as i exited.

Well I picked up a set on eBay that I haven't received yet, for around $300. I've seen 'em sell for double that amount.

Yeah - I think $300 is a reasonable price. I have seen a few pair go in the $400-500 range

Dickster:
H1's have two bulbs in each bucket...separate high and low beams. Nice thing is that each on of these four bulbs can be aimed independently of the other. ---Wil Ferch
