Don't You Hate It When
The hardest part of the job is removing the stickers (and associated goo) from the new parts.
You forget to reinstall the oil drain plug.
Strip the last bolt on a 24 bolt set i,e, rocker shaft bolt/nut  Doh!

I always order parts w/o stickers like NO pickles on my sandwich. Allergies, one at Chili's they gave a burger with them and my face blew up.....free meals, 10 of them.
When everything is back together and you find an extra part.
And when they put easy peel stickers on stuff that doesnt matter but not on stuff that does. And stickers over stickers making the under stickers impossible to uncover
My Little Pony stickers on the intake plenum and Strawberry Shortcake stickers on my new Conti DWs. Just makes me want to hurt someone.
You cant find one of the studs holding the exhaust onto the turbo as you are trying to get the car back on the road, even though you were sure you put all the parts in a box. Yes, this is me tonight...

You realize that if you had taken off the other part that was in your way you would have saved the last 2 hours trying to wrestle the part into place. Now you take it off and the job is complete in 10 minutes...
Then the neighbors complain to your wife about the numerous swear words they heard during those 2 hours |
You notice 3 days after checking your oil level that you forgot to put the oil cap back on.
Tom |
No wonder you were banned for life;)
