Need pic of early (73>) p-brake clamp

Can someone shoot me a picture?

I have a 73 and am missing the peices that hold the parking brake cable to the rear suspension arms.

I've looked at the PET and am trying to figure out how many parts I need and how they install.

Could someone shoot me a picture of the rear of your emergency brake cable?
(The later suspension arms have a different cable fastening arrangement so I need 73 or earlier).

for 73 rear arms part #51 is a hard plastic piece that attaches to the arms (with the associated hardware) and positions #49 , the metal tube around the cable just before it enters the rear brake assembly . I believe the cable also passes through 59 which is a fabric strap that attaches to the chassis. sorry no pictures

Thanks Jeff
That was a very helpful reference

(Returning a race car to the street and lots of bits missing with no idea that I even needed them )

Wayner,

I've had to do this before, not fun but not overly complicated either. Its called a parking brake guide, PN 901.424.562.01

I believe there is a bolt holding it on and the cable sits in it with a nut holding tension.

I don't think our host carries. Sierra Madre does but I recall getting from Stoddard. They are only about 5 bones

Little white piece above rear trailing arm:

I fixed mine into position with safety wire through a small drilled hole in the plastic bracket which is just a guide, the locknuts are for adjusting tension against the spacer tube.

Wayne, I have exactly the same kind of lash-up as you. The next time I place an order I will get a guide for both Left and Right Hand Side.

Good to see you back in the hunt - your threads are always good to read

Cheers, Neil

Thanks Neil

There used to be so many of these how to threads, but not so much anymore.
I learned everything that I know here, but usually I didn't have to be the one asking the questions. I wonder if that is a sign of the collectors entering the market?

As for threads, I just started a fun one in off-topic
