BB in the carb update

After getting the carb disassembled and convincing myself the BB couldn't have originated within, I took a closer look. It's lead and smaller than a BB. My guess is birdshot. Go figure ...

Just a bit of speculation - Smaller than a bb and made of lead? Could this be one of the lead plugs Weber used to close off various passages within the carb? Just a thought...

Plug? I wondered about that. Those are lead, are they? I'll search the carb body over again before I reassemble it, just to be sure.

Gotta be a lead plug. They're all over the place in Webers, sometimes they leak, sometimes they fall out.
