Exide Edge AGM battery?

Is this a direct fit on a 911SC? It seems to match group 49 size specs.

I'd like to get a sealed battery that is a direct fit.

Their site say's..

Not sure if all SC's had this type to begin with.

Autozone has a great deal on their AGM batteries. Direct fit, free delivery and a gift card to boot.

All batteries come from only 2-3 plants with different brands on them.

Looking on the Autozone site, they say that that battery doesn't fit a 911SC.

But if I understand correctly, I should have two mounting holes for the bracket and the shorter one should take a group 48 battery. Right?

YES, did exactly that with my '86 carrera -- works perfectly and highly recommended

FWIW, I picked up one of these Duralast AgM batteries at Autozone today. The H8 size is the full sized battery for the 911 tray. The H6 size lines up perfectly with the second hole in my tray.

I just bought this off of Amazon for $135. I have bought this one twice and both times I got it on sale on Amazon (the first time I paid $110).

Note, both group 48 and 49 fits our cars. The group 48 is a little shorter and I believe is what came on 911SC. Carreras got the bigger group 49. Our battery trays have hold down holes for both battery sizes so you can use either.
