Front Brakes Stick After Car Sat a Week

I recently went to back my SC out of the garage to go for a spin after the car sat about a week and felt a little hesitation and then both front calipers went "pop" and let go. No other signs of dragging/sticking calipers for the rest of the 30 mile trip and I haven't experienced this before or since. The calipers were rebuilt and the lines flushed/bled about a year ago.

The weather has been wet but the car is garaged. Is this normal brake behavior or something to be concerned about?

Thanks,

I'm guessing you have semi-metallic brake pads and they rusted to the rotors. Not a big deal. It is amazing how fast rotors can rust when a car isn't driven. You might want to look at a dehumidifier for the garage.

Thanks, Kurt.

Now that you mention it, the last time I drove the car before parking it a week, the streets were wet which, to my mind, confirms your theory.

Garage
I'll confirm that... Happens to me all the time. After the first "pop" they're fine...
