I don't have your e-mail with me at work so I am posting my question here. Maybe you or anyone else that knows can answer.

On the rear fuse box that you made me a while back: Is the red 12v wire sticking out at the bottom always hot or switched to be hot when ignition on?

If the above is not switched, is there a spot on the 3 fuse block that is switched that I can tap into? I need to wire my O2 controller to a switched 12v and this would be the most convenient location.

i'm not timmy, so excuse the butt in, i'd , say swithed when ignition on, looks like the 12v feed to the CDI unit, just my 2 cents in the meantime, we'lll find the real answer in a mo.

You could just plug it all in and find out, then wire the o2 from there.

Wire below the 14 pin connector is/was the CDI switched 12 volt supply. There is a fused one on the 3 fuse panel as well. (Same wire) Meter it out to confirm. (Ohms is unpowered)

I know I can check but since the car is not yet together, I can't do that yet. I'm setting up my oxygen controller and want to get it all wired (prior to connecting up the car's battery).

Getting super close to completing this project which has taken 2 years.
Yes, I know it started out as a clutch job but while I was in there......PMO, Electromotive, brakes, struts, shocks, bushings, torsion bars, interior, probably more but can't remember it all..Can't wait to be back on the road in a "new" 911.
