Rear Drop Links Removal and Install
Any tips and tricks to removing old rear drop links? I am having a hard time removing the bolts.
Thanks! |
Yeah unfortunately the spring plate prevents you from being able to get an impact socket on the top bolt. If memory serves me right, it takes a 19mm wrench. Soak with PB blaster and maybe tap the wrench with a hammer to loosen.

Get her on ramps to keep the load off and use breaker bar or cheater box to box wrench. Use another wrench and maybe block of wood to counter hold the bolt. Yeah it is a PITA to remove the first time and rust does not help

Thanks, guys! I'll try that.
