New to 911--Confused

1999 Carrera. Raised the hood, no shocks. Hood has mounting points (balls) but none present for the bottom of the shocks. Car had front end damage at one time. Did it originally have mounts for shocks?

Find another car like yours and see what and were it has the lower mounts. See about fabricating your own. Shouldn't be too difficult.

They are part of the hood hinge. If yours are missing then someone took them off or didn't transfer them over to the new hinges.
