After removing the evaporator as part of an A/C delete, there are two bunches of wires left in the smuggler's box. The first bunch runs to the center console A/C knobs and is easily removed. The second bunch of wires starts at the silver relay attached to the wall of the smuggler's box and runs upwards, someplace behind the fresh air blower. Looks like a total PITA to remove. Exactly where does this bunch of wires end up, and what is the easiest path to removal?

I did a full AC delete in my 1980 and removed all the wires without cutting wires or messing with the fresh air system, for what that's worth.

I'm in this same boat. I think removing the fresh air fan will be needed to get the wires out neatly.
