Stuck in 4th... Another stuck 915 thread
 

So I was out for my first drive in the 911 in about 3 years (I take it out at least once per year - I usually drive one of my turbos)...

As I was downshifting from 5th to 4th, it jammed in 4th. It works fine but I only got 4th.

Any ideas before I drop it (might be a while before I get to it)?

Make sure all your linkage is in order if it is then drain the oil and remove the inspection cover from the lower r/s (facing the front ) Inspect the bolts they work loose sometimes.
