Question Q. How to fit a Volt/Amp. Meter

I have a spare volt meter from an old Audi and so I would fit it into the Porsche to keep a check on the altenator/battery condition.

Thought I would cut a face plate to suit, and then mount it in the centre console, where I have removed the cassette drawers.

Do I just wire it up to a live ( ignition ) circuit.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Yep, easy to do. In some of my past cars I have used the cigarette lighter wires since I don't smoke. All you need is a switched hot and a ground or negative (which is basically just a ground)
