Factory labels decoded
Attached factory labels on my 1982 911sc

ECE road homologation decals on RoW Porsches, starting in 1975. The decals indicate European safety standards…E1 = Germany, E2 = France. They also appear on a variety of parts such has tail lights, H-4s, seatbelts, etc.

It's the RoW Harmonization codes.
The link above explains it pretty well and even contains a list of codes. They aren't exact but you can probably surmise that "14R-0008" is that your 911sc contains safety belt anchorages. R14 — safety belt anchorages These are different from options, they are just safety standards so they can export a car from Germany to Spain etc - For a list of actual factory options get a COA from Porsche. I take it your car is a RoW car? |
