1978 911SC Engine Compartment Light
 

I am looking for any information on installing athe orginal engine compartment light on a 1978 911SC. I have the light and the wiring harness. Just the location of the light would be a great start. Any other information would be great!

It goes on the center of the deck lid, on the engine side of course. There should be two screw holes from the factory where it attached about halfway down.

The car doesn't have the original deck on it. It was replaced with a fiberglass spoiler/tail.

The refrigeration lines go to a rear quarter mounted condenser. The condenser has a fan on it. It's a very compact little unit that rejects a lot of heat so the load on the second engine lid condenser is greatly reduced. It works well. I can get 48 degrees on a 95 degree day. I'm running r-12.
