Exhaust hardware question
Seems like an insignificant part, but...
I have researched a little and decided to use stainless exhaust bolts so as to not rust away within a few years. I read that I shouldn't use stainless nuts with them, but maybe copper or silicon bronze. So is there a benefit of copper or bronze over the other? Does our host offer them? Couldn't find them searching the webstore myself Thanks for any guidance!

Eric, any explanation on that? Bronze is copper with tin added resulting in an alloy stronger than both (i learnt myself with google). But does the added tin make it gall the threads easier or something?
I've found bronze but can't locate copper nuts at mcmaster. Bronze m8x1.25: McMaster-Carr

Just type in copper nuts m8x1.25 and you will get tons of sites that offer those nuts. I get every nut and bolt from e-bay now. Just make sure you use nickel anti-seize.

What?

Either is good but copper is better, they deform and are easy to remove after many heat cycles. Our host sells them.

I've never had a problem with stainless nuts, bolts, and washers on my header to muffler connections.
