Unhappy 86Ragtop sold!!!

Well the ragtop sold for way under value but at least the trade -in salesmen did not get their mitts on it!!
Sold for $16,000!!!! yes, yes I know! but I have no time to wait and haggle and the market for 911's in Florida is not so great.
Thanks again to those who helped witht he upkeep of the Carrera- you know who you are.
And sorry if on occaisions I pissed of any of you, but thes have been trying times!
I will visit the board as it has been part of my daily routine but my homepage will change.
The replacement has not yet been finalised but it will be someting a little newer and with real A/C
I will defiately own another 911 down the line but it may have to wait until I get back to Blighty and have garage!
Leyland will be pleased to know it will likely be an SC!!!
Good luck all and enjoy your 911's
rgds Ben

Wow, Ben, the car was a bargain for someone.
When are you back in the UK?
Plenty of SCs there, just look on the Autotrader (UK) web site - as I bet you have.
Anyhow, keep in contact and take care....

Sorry to hear you sold it, Ben! Somebody got a great deal after you fixed all of those problems over the past year or so!!!

Good luck with the next 911 ... SC or otherwise!

Keep in touch, when you can, OK?

Thanks Warren, as I mentioned I hope to get an SC coupe back in the UK in a few yrs tine and with the confidence and knowledge learnt plus if this board is still going strong. I will attempt a lightweight club racer/hill climb car!
I will of course have the perfect garage to work on it! heated/ventilated all the bells and whistles including the Pirelli calendar!!!
Until then whenever I see a 911 I will be envious and keen to get back in the saddle!

....Honest I'm too young for 'oldtimers disease!'
