Recaro SPG with Brey Krause brackets

Does anyone have an SPG seat that is installed with BK side mount brackets?
Because the BK brackets are the same for each side, the seat is not centered in the seat tracks. I've only temp. installed the seat and haven't driven the car but this location doesn't feel right.
I'm thinking of making additional brackets to center the seat in the tracks.
If you have this set up, did you fab. something to center the seat or did you get used to this position? Thanks.

Don, My SPG's mounted directly to the factory mounts. What is the year of your car? I have my set in my '87. Let me know so I can possibly help you further.

Cheers, James

James,
I also have an 87. Are you using BK side mount brackets?

Having your seat ofset to the middle of the car could be good. If you check closely, with the stock seats, the wheel is offset to the middle of the car. A lot of the racers strive to have the wheel centered in relation to the seat, and offseting the seat brackets is one method.
Maybe you should drive the car. Assuming there is no clearance problem.

Don, Mine are mounted with the Recaro mounts. I'll try to find a picture of my seats in the car if that would help. My seat position feels fine.

Cheers, James
