Another Bently faux pas. What a pain

Tuning a 1982 sc checking sensors for the cis I found this to be completely the opposite. The chain cover sensor r/s is supposed to be closed when the temperature is below 59 degrees NOT ABOVE. It opens above 59 degrees and closes below 59 degrees. Because of this I bought a new switch (that I cannot return).

They maintain the change sheets (errata) here: https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/display/tech/Porsche+911+SC+Service+Manual+-+1978-1983+%28P983%29+-+Updates;jsessionid=FA285395DF9FB8AC0DDD93320F3697 1D.

Drop them a line with a link to this thread and they will update the manual at this site.
