Hmmm, but it's not a 930........I dunno, I'd procede with cuation on this one. It definitely looks like a nice driver, but it was originally a 3.2 Carrera with the turbo-look option. Nonetheless, a nice toy.

Be careful. This car started out as a 1984 Carrera, then apparently had a 3.3 with a non-stock intercooler dropped in it. Almost certainly has a 915 tranny, which may be problematic for further engine upgrades, etc.

If resale matters at all to you, stay away unless you can get it REAL cheap.

I didn't look at the fine print either, but I thought Zamir was able to tell just by looking? Beats me...

I can spot a grey-market car from a mile away (it might be because I own one ), and all genuine 1984 930 turbos that are in the United States are grey market cars with VIN #s that start with WPOZZZ...... The vin on this car starts just like any other U.S. spec car, WPOA......So, therefore it must be a turbo-look Carrera 3.2 with a turbocharged motor dropped in. I'm sure it's a fun ride, but unless you can get it for around $17,000 you're throwing your money away because this car has absolutely no resale. There is no way to tell how you'd price such a car. Is it worth as much as a clean turbo-look 3.2? Same as a genuine grey-market '84 930 turbo?

The 5-speed was my tip off. No 5-speeds on the 930 until 1989.
