Porsche shop in NYC

Hi,

I recently acquired a beautiful 87 Targa in this forum and I am looking for shop "near" NYC to do regular maintenance.

Any good advice? Thanks in advance

I live in Manhattan, but I don't mind driving 1/2 to 1 hour for a good shop.

Bill Rudnter is a good guy, active PCA'er and a good reputation. Good choice for LI.

Cheech and Rennwerke in Elmsford, just north of NYC in Westchester is also a good choice. 914-592-4006. Excellent work, good reputation. I use them for everything.

I live in Manhattan and I take my cars to Bill Rudtner.
Its a 40 minute drive from the city. Also really easy to walk to the train at Freeport which takes you back to Penn

The only answer is Cheech at Rennwerks. I take my car there from the city and he is the man. Great work from a true Porsche nut.

Any one of the shops mentioned are good. Do not go to Formula Motorsports in LIC, unless you want to be screwed.

Rennewerke

I've known Cheech for a lot of years as well. He's been around a long time, and is very knowledgable. Not only good with the newer stuff, but also a lot of the older cars as well. Just FWIW.

I use a small indy shop right by the Whitestone bridge in Queens about 20 Mins from NYC with no traffic. He has been working on my cars for over 20 years always honest and dependable. I do not know what you are looking to have done but if you are interested PM me and I will give you his info.

I couldn't PM you because your mail box is full Mike80911

Hey can you tell me the name and address of the business of the recommended Porsche indy? Also business number of the place??

Are they reasonable in price or have you found them to be slightly expensive at all?

Ever been dissatisfied slightly with work or have to take your car back because they missed something on your car in any way or dissatisfied with the quality of the repair?

Thanks
