brake upgrade question
how difficult is it to upgrade the brakes on an early 911, what brakes are the best, is the wheel spacing an issue? is the 3.5 inch bolt spacing on the the same.

Look at Bill Verberg's home page for a very complete spreadsheet on the possibilities (home.nycap.rr.com/wmv) The combinations are dictated by wheel diameter and offset. The least expensive conversion would be 964 calipers and Carrera rotors. You would also require a new master cylinder and the cost would be approximately $2500. Prices go up from there.
Also see VCI's web site (www.vehiclecraft.com).
