2.7. It's right there on your engine label ... CID 163.9 = 2.7 liter
|
Thanks I see that but I believe that fan and housing is from another motor

Are there factory oil lines going to the cam chain tensioners?
|
Guessing 78 sc motor? Anthting written behind the oil pressure sensor on the block?
I mean stamped, not written. |
According to PET, 6380086 belongs to a '78 SC (3.0L, 132KW, type 930.03)
|
i don't have anything specific for a 638 engine but it does put it right around the 74-77 (2.7)area . It could possibly be a 78 but with those pics its hard to tell . Also the green shroud and sticker would lead me to believe its a 2.7 . It could all of course been changed , but so could a number of other things, so I guess your real question should be does anyone know what this engine WAS !!

Thanks !

As was stated above the Redbook says you have a 930/03 3.0 liter ROW (non US)
8.5-1 comp 180 hp, the '78 SC production run started at 6380001....the 930-04 (49 state model) was the same except for the fitment of catalytic converters. The engine shroud should be red as the 2.7 had the green so some things have been done to the 3 liter. |
