911 Diecast
A few new releases from PMA Minichamps. These are 1/43 scale and are typically released in different colors over a period of months or years.

Here is a Carerra Coupe!
You just need to search the site a little for them.

I think that orange softwindow was JUST released. So it might be a few weeks. Might check with Wayne and see if he'll be getting it. Here's another nice one that was released several weeks ago:

Here's another really nice Minichamps I added to my collection recently. The 718RSK Sebring winner (the trailer didn't come with it).

I'm still waiting for an SC or Carrera Coupe - post '73 ( and without spoiler).
They've got the targa already so maybe it's on the cards. |

I have a white 83 SC (no tail) with black interior MiniChamps. I have been waiting for a Targa. The one shown above is listed as a 77 but the body is close enough to make me happy. I will be ordering one as soon as it becomes avaiable.

I can't find the Minichamps SC anywhere. Where did you get yours? All I can find is Convertibles, Speedsters, Targas and Turbos.

I bought all my 1/43rds from a local vendor. He has moved his store about 20 miles further out so it will be harder for me to get down there and check to see if he has any more but I will be happy to do so.
Bought a 73RS (not MiniChamps) 83 SC, 964, GT1 Evo from him. I have yet to see a SC Targa as I have been looking for one. Want to pant it to match my my 78 Targa. Had been looking for W123 1980 Mercedes 240D (Minichamps) and finally found one when I was in Paris last year. Found it by chance when I walked into a Paris Mercedes Dealership. You get me a Minichamps Targa and I will get you a SC Coupe sans wings. Sound good?

Curt,
What do you know about Veloce? Jim Garfield posted a related thread a few days ago. I'm not familiar with this company, but they are apparently soon to enter the high end die cast market with a 1/18 911 Carrera that they claim will rival Exoto in detail (and price). The prototype is rough, but looks promising. Any info or opinions on this company? Thanks, Tim

Will have to check on the year for the 964, It is green in color and if you remove it from it's display stand/base and roll it the tail will extend and retract. Pretty neat little car.
Look for a response tonight.

Osidak - I'll be happy to get you a targa if you can find another coupe.
The 1/18th scale one looks interesting. |

This is great! Its about time my collection moves beyond Bburago. I do have a really nice 993TT made by a company called UT-Models, 1/18 scale. Ever heard of them?
Nick.

UT models are really nice, a company called Eagles Race makes several early 911 racers. Also Vitesse. I'll post some pix of my collection shortly.
