is this a blown strut cartridge?
When I was under my car doing the cluster pedal rebuild, I happen to notice the "darkness" surrounding my front left strut.
![]() is that a diffinitive that my seals are blown? I assume they are stock bilstiens in there. Thanks, Paul

Certainly looks like it. To remove, that upper roll pin get punched out and the insert will slide right out.

Time for new/rebuilt shocks, there is only one place that oil could have originated...

I take it, this is just a standard Bilstein B6 insert that I need for replacement?

If that is the only one leaking be sure to have a look for a bent rim at that corner, though it might just be bad luck / age.
