fitting ducktail -what do i do with the cables (rear wiper and internal light)
 

i am in the process of removing my deck lid on my 1982 SC and replacing
with a ducktail.

my old deck lid had a rear wiper and cable loom for it.i also have a light for
the outgoing decklid.

what do i do with these cables? can i unplug somewhere?
currently i have used electrical tape for the ends and cable tied in
the corner - but looking for a better solution.

what has everyone else done?

I replace mine but I did not had the wiper just the light. Since my ducktail did not had an area where I could have put the light, I just tucked it away. You can just roll the extra wiring and tuck it away neatly and out of sight, so in case you want to put the old lid back, the connections are there. Good luck!
