Please help me trace this a/c hose! (pic)
 

It's the one with the arrow pointing to it connected to the top of the expansion valve... Does it go to the receiver/dryer??? Thanks in advance!!! (Sorry for the blurry pic. I'm still learning how to use my digital camera.)

Yes it does, goes to the R/Dryer.
Did you ever find any R-12?

thanks, derk. just wanted to make sure before i replaced it.

yeah, i had bought some r-12 off of ebay, but then discovered i had a leak, so now i'm going to have to start over again! in short, i completely blew the money i spent on it. at least i was able to find the leaks, i guess... 2 of 'em: one needlepoint leak on the rubber of the hose i posted the pic of, and another more significant one in the hose going from the compressor to the rear condenser.

I know of a great A/C shop down here on the south side of town. They can make a/c hoses, using you old fittings. They have made me some before. Barber Auto Air 770-961-2300
