Porsche Museum

Hey All,
I was just curious to see if anyone has ever checked out the Porsche Museum. I just got back and I really enjoyed it. If Air France ever gets my bags back I can prob post some pics as my GF took some good picks.

I have been there. I have also seen the Cayenne in the Porsche Zentrum and in Baden-Baden.

I was there this time last year and have been to the one in Gmuend too. Both are well worth a visit.

I made it there in 89, my wife and I were living in Cairo Egypt and took a two week driving vacaction through Bavaria . On the return leg to Frankfurt I insisted on stopping in Stutgard. Debra waited patiently 3 hours while I drueled all over the vintage cars. Moved back to Long Island New York in early January 1991. I bought my very first Porsche, the Brown Turd before the end of January from a second owner in Astoria Queens. I told Debra that I will be happy to keep this car for the rest of my life. Now she knows that it wasn't a one time investment, I have spent a considerable sum reworking the engine and now I am in the process of restoring the body. Debra just shakes her head and says men and there toys and by the way you'll need a second job to pay for the restoration.

I was there several years ago. Had to book a tour of the plant
in Stuttgart ahead of time also.
The museum is well worth the visit to anyone who is interested
in Porsche and it's history.
Even have the Formula One car of Gurney's.
If you go, stop by Werks One also....parts at really good prices.
