e brake fitment

g,day all,

while under the car today I noticed the e brake cables are flopping around, and the lock nuts don't seem to do anything, well that cant be right.

what am I missing


is there

On early cars there is a parking brake cable guide. Not sure if '76 has this but it looks like you need something similar to hold cable in place.

Mine have been a bit like that for the 25 years I've had the car - still seem to work just fine.
