Mis-aligned Muffler
I have added new SSI's and a Dansk dual in/dual out sport muffler to my 79 SC. Now that it is complete I have noticed that the passenger side exhaust pipe is higher than the drivers side and the drivers side exhaust sticks out more than the passanger side. I know it may be anal, but I want the swap to look as good as possible and since the passanger side exhaust is shorter it is leaving brown exhaust gases on the bumper. Anyone have any suggestions as how to fix this problem.

I don't know if this is proper, but we had that problem on a race car (one being higher than the other). We got the pipes hot, put a cheater bar in the end of it and appied slow gradually pressure/weight on the bar. Worked perfect.

RT,
You may want to loosen the system, adjust for placement and tighten while in position (You may need some assistance). Other than that you can try to figure out which assembly is off and try Johnnyo200s suggestion. Every car and every exhaust is going to be a bit different. Especially if it's aftermarket. Good Luck Rick
