Did all 1968 911S come with an elephant hide dash face, door panels and seat inserts?

Hello,

I'm wondering if all the 1968 911S came with matching elephant hide seats, dash face and door panels? Did some come with basket weave? Or did some have mixed patterns like elephant hide face with basket weave seats?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Jay

No, elephant hide was a special option for that year only as far as I know, and only for a few months. Everything covered in it even sun visors. Search on the Early S Registry, good info there.

Typical was the basket weave, not mixed together but with Porsche anything is possible. Only way to confirm would be COA/Kardex.
