Interesting 1974 Options

I was looking through an original 1974 911 brochure and found some options that I've never seen on a car.

1. Coloured cookie cutters in Gazelle, Steel Blue and Ice Green:

2. Front bonnet SAFETY (!) flashes:

I have a friend with a 74 US Carrera in gulf blue that came with the safety stripes on the front hood. For some reason when he had the car repainted.... the stripes never reappeared???? The cookie cutters in ice green are way cool!

This is funny. A while back i had the cookie cutters on my 1974 painted silver cuz what looked like a blue coloring was underneath and I thought it was some primer or contamination. Turns out now it could be original coloring.....if that dont beat all.....

I think PAR or someone had some individual brand new NOS cookies like that on ebay last fall.

Does anyone know where stripes like that can be found?

What's a good 70s TV description for stripes like that?

1) Boss!
2) Rad!
3) Stylin'!
4) Dy-no-mite!

Or for those of contrary feeling: "You big dummy!"

Help me decide. I want to get the lingo down before getting the stripes down, baby.

I think they're sorta "post-groovy". I like the black with the orange.

Groovy, I think.

I don't know if you can still get the original ones, but your local vinyl signwriter should be able to make them up easily enough, then you could sell them on!

I actually do like it. Not something you see everyday, and clearly a "retro" cool factor of 10 imo. What color is your car?

I think they drove the car before the paint dried. Look at how the 911 ran all the way up the hood.

A pale/butter yellow. I don't know the exact color name.
