Need torque specs for case
I have Waynes rebuild book but cannot find the torque specs for the case through bolts and perimeter bolts. Can someone share these with me?
THat's right! It's time to start assembling the motor. Several Pelicans are coming over Saturday to cheer and jeer while we put together the bottom end. Wahoo! |
Chris, do you have a Bentley amnual? I'll have to go digging in the boxes in the basement, but I thought they were in there? If so, I can bring it over.

I've got the full set of factory manuals for my 930, and some sort of Clymers manual, perhaps even the Bentley manual around somewhere...
I can look them up, figured someone here would know of the top of their head... |

I have a tech spec book for my 78 through 81 models and it states 35 Nm for crankcase bolts and 25 Nm for all bolts on crankcase and camshaft housing.

Chris, I have the torques in the spec book - I'll bring it with me. Same book Scoll911 is referring to above.
