Installing rear sway bar
I am looking to fit a rear sway bar on my 1974 911 that has not previously been having one, i.e. no mounting brackets are welded on, etc. So, now I am researching what to get and notice that most seem to have the drop links that attach to the ball on the trailing arm. Do all rear sway bars attach this way or are there other kinds? The problem is that I seem to be missing the ball attachment point on one of the trailing arms.
Thanks! |
The Tarett bars attach to the rear spring plate using the camber adjustment bolt.

wevo makes a really good weld on mount. if using a larger bar such as the smart racing unit mock it up before you weld them on. there can be a very tight fit where it runs across the trans cross member.
