Correct Spacer Width for 8" rear Fuchs

Looking for the most aggressive stance on my 88 3.2. Can't find definitive info using search, seems like most folks have 7" rears.

Anyone put spacers on the rear of their 3.2 using 8" Fuchs? What is the max thickness? Thanks in advance.

Keep in mind that left and right clearances may not be the same.

Stack some washers and mount the wheel. Dial it in and then order the correct spacer.

If you add spacers, change the lug bolts for longer ones, too.

Can I ask why the left and right clearances may be different? I know seeing that on my widebody and have been looking for problems as to why it is that way. Is that normal?

FWIW i have 9x16 at my rears and have 7mm spacers. I could have gone 10mm the most so ita just above the fender lip

This is my '82SC with 9" rears on custom 6mm spacers in the rear on 245 Toyo Proxes. My rear fenders are rolled too and it's pretty close.

I wouldn't go any more than 6mm without getting longer studs. Just my $.02

Do you have any pictures of your stance with the 7mm spacers? How many turns were you able to get on your lug nuts? I've heard of guys going to 10mm without longer studs but it sounds risky to me. Curious of your thoughts.
