911 Carrera 3.2 Cab electric hood

My electric hood will not lower when i press the button on my 89 3.2 cab. it also has not shut quite properly and its not slotted in to the windschield

is there anyway i can lower it manually

You can release the front latches (procedure is in the owner's manual) and then loosen the pivot bolts (behind the seats) to manually lower the top. You will then need to have it reindexed to properly function afterwards.
