Anyone with 1978-79 SC ??????

I need some help with vacuum hose locations from anyone with a 1978-79 SC. There are two vacuum hoses from the WUR.One comes out the side and goes to the thermo valve. The other comes off the top and would guess goes to the throttle body. I need help with the location of where the hose from the top of the WUR goes to. A picture of the location or a diagram would be appreciated. thanks for any help. Joe W

I have a 79, but I have no idea where the WUR is. You point it out to me and I'll trace the vacuum lines....

The hose from the top of the WUR goes to the throttle body ABOVE the butterfly. The nipple is on the on the upper side of the throttle body facing to the rear of the car. Make sure it is attached above the butterfly as that line is to outside air pressure i.e., not below the butterfly. The line leaving the WUR on the lower end is to a vacuum source via the thermo valve to the throttle body BELOW the butterfly.

Great!!!!!! thanks for all the help and the great picture. Tsuter you hit my question right on the head. I thought that top line was supposed to be a suction line too. I didnt feel any vacuum so I thought I had the hose hooked up wrong. many thanks to all who responded. Joe W
