What brand of tires are you running? I use Bridgestone RE730's and will need replacements soon. GREAT tire but I wanted to see what others suggested.

set of RE730 tires less than 500 miles. Like New.
245/45/16 and 205/50/16 $300 obo.

I was very happy with these, just went to 17 inch rims.

If you like to AX for added traction try a set of Kuhmo Victor racers.

I was dissapointed with my RE-730s after having the old RE-71s. Currently running on Yokohama AVS ES-100s. Thumbs up.

I'm running the Kumho Ecsta 712s on my '85 Targa and like them a lot. Came highly recommended to me by the guys at Tire Rack, particularly after they raised the issue of the RE730s getting really loud.

I'm curious, did you experience this with yours?

I recently put a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's and noticed a huge improvement over the Dunlop Sport 5000 they replaced.

I ran 3 sets of the AVS. The fact i had 3 sets says something. Now I have the Kuhmo Estacia MX tires. No track experiece with these yet, but they look mean and are supposed to be a great tire. Nothing but rave reviews.
