Correct stitching for 76 rear seat?
Can anybody definitively say whether the stitching would be horizontal or vertical on a tartan interior for a 76 carrera 3.0? I have and have found samples of each and it appears to perhaps be a mid-year split or perhaps in vinyl they are vertical but in tartan or another custom fabric they are horizontal? In ‘75 they definitely(although the rare ‘75 turbo prototype is horizontal) are vertical and ‘77 definitely are horizontal. Any help would be appreciated.

Not trying to be funny. "stitching horizontal or vertical", what exactly does that mean? Post what you have. If it helps, this is the leather stitching on a 76 Carrera 3.0 Targa.
Seat back.  Rear-shelf assembly.

So your seats are vertical stitching however on a 77 they are horizontal and on a 76 with tartan they are also horizontal. This is what I was trying to figure out at the time
