SC Heater engine compartment blower removal...
How do you connect the outlet of the engine fan direct to the two heater hoses and bypass the engine compartment blower?
Does an aftermarket part exist? BTW, removing this blower won't make a difference because it has never worked and the heating works fine without it.

I simply removed the fan assembly out of its housing, duct tapped the internal voids where the fan used to be so air wouldn't escape in there but rather directed immediately through the existing ductwork.
I bolted the housing back in place, hooked up the ducts and, yes - so long as you are in motion it works fine without the fan, even with the climate control. For a neater job, as you're suggesting, Pelican sells a heater "backdate" kit if I recall. I stumbled across it somewhere in a "search".

Thanks guys. Babic, you are right, there are quite a few threads posted. Here is a good one to do the complete backdate:
related thread #1 However, I'm asking: Is there's an existing part for keeping the fan shroud current, but ducting are to both exchangers? Unless something already exists, I'm thinking of making a splitter out of a thick, high temperature fabric.

To back date the heater for a 911SC you need the following parts:
911-106-327-00 Heater Duct 911-106-321-00 Heater Duct 911-106-036-00 Cover Plate Large 911-106-827-00 Cover Plate Small 911-211-194-00 Heater Duct Hose Got rid of my heater blower in 1982. Living in Hawaii and didn't need it.

tsuter has got it right. With the backdated heater ducts, you'd be amazed how much tidier the engine bay is!

The cover plate does not interfere with the AC compressor bracket and compressor. I needed the AC in Hawaii but needed room on the left side for my turbo pipes and the heater blower motor was in the way over there. As was that silly air pump.
