Resizing a picture is very easy even with Microsoft paint. Right click on the image > open with Paint at the tool bar on top press the Resize button or hit Ctrl + W and it will open up the resize feature. By percentage change it from the 100% down to whatever size you need to make it fit.

I'm sure someone here can give you instructions if you have a Mac.

Interesting project, hard to believe RSAs are old enough now to need resto.
Good luck,
Matt

That's likely because the SC series' last year was 1983 and third brake lights weren't mandated until 1986. The 993s had different styles of lights. On cabs, they had the goofy basket handle. Not terribly attractive in my opinion. The other style used on coupes was very subtle. If you didn't know it was there, you might think it was some small addition to smooth airflow over the rear widow or something. And if the cars weren't from the North America market, they likely wound't have the lights anyway.

Hi,

I am currently restoring my 93 RS America and could use a little help on the rear interior carpet details.

-What is below the carpeting on the interior rear fire wall and shelf below the rear window? Is it foam, fibre board or both?

-Does the carpeting on the side walls below the rear quarter windows have any insulation behind it or is it glued directly to the sheet metal?

Pictures or details would be very helpful.

Thanks

Yep, that's correct, how much that was stolen and what was just stripped by owner after recorvery I'm not sure of, in 99 when this happend the 993 and the 996 had arrived, I'm guessing the cheapest 964 wasn't worth that much so maybe they just continued picking parts from it.

I thought there were one Carrera tail almost identical to the RSA so I'm finding it hard to believe that this is a real RSA tail even though seller claims it has been painted once. What do you guys think?

That looks like it might be the correct tail (but painted incorrectly). The RSA tail doesn't have the rear wiper hole, but did not have black painted louvers. To my knowledge all other tails have a wiper arm hole.

Tnx for the input guys, highly appriciated.
Car have not arrived yet, still in shipping, cant wait to put my hands on it.
Was wondering about the stuff under the dashboard, what goes under there thats not in the heaterbox?? Blower regulator and what else? Not talking about the vent grills etc, I mean under that thing except Electrics.

Hunting Parts have been a success story so far, many parts obtained thats not easy to find so im pretty happy this far.
Top parts:
RSA Whale tail(not the one I posted earlier)
RS America badge (Expensiv)

Anybody know where you can find a nuts, screws and washer kit for 964? Can't find any, maybe doesn't exist.

Meanwhile jigsaw continues...

Edit: picture error, I have the pictures at twitter ola77hed

I'm on the search for a rear seat delete for this beauty, would really appreciate if anybody that has a real one check the partnumber on it, can't find it on the partsites in the Web.
There's a couple of them out there and I think I have a pretty good idea what to look for but need to be sure when paying ridiculous money for a playwood board.
Tnx Guys

AFAIK all US-market 964s have power windows.

I recall they considered bringing in the 964 Speedster with manual windows. They did not: one reason is that a car with manual windows AND airbags AND glovebox requires a very special kneepad. (Porsche only produced a handful of these kneepads).

I recall the other reason was something about fitting the manual window winder inside the speedster door, with the speedster window. Although it worked on the '89, so I'm not sure.

The one exception to the first statement may be the cars Andial imported specifically to be constructed as cup cars. But I'm not sure.

Nevermind, looks like Jordan beat me by a few months! I didn't look past page 2!

I think some cabriolet's have the rear seat delete (sometimes written RSD). But I don't know if the cabrio part is the same as the coupe part.

They were not the same. The cab part had raised tubular luggage rails.
