euro single side parking lights - how they function
euro single side parking lights - can someone point me to an explanation of, (or explain), how this circuit works on a circa 1970 euro market 911?
what i don't understand is what control circuitry allows the single side to function when IGN is OFF, but becomes inactive when the IGN is ON |
they likely don't work. it is a euro thing so they prolly burn or short out quickly... jag/range rover blast intended,,,

Power to either side is always there when key is on or off through NC contacts in the relay and the NO contacts on the turn signal stalk. When key is on, Operating the turn signal makes relay pulse the NC contacts open and closed.

just what i needed - my old eyes having trouble trying to discern in tiny Haynes diagrams as it happens - i'm also installing LED bulbs, so this answered an electrical feedback issue as well Quote:
