Recommendations for steering wheel restoration

The car is a 1972 911T. The leather on the steering wheel is pealing off and the rubber underneath is cracked. I recall that there is shop in LA that does good work but I cannot find a reference to them. Any recommendations?

Any recommendations for or against extra foam padding in the rim?

I had my stock 3-spoke (SC-style) turned into a Carrera-like "fatty" wheel. Absolutely worth it.

I had mine done to stock, thought about the extra, but didn't.

Here's the weird part: my old wheel had the leather pretty beat up on the top and was visibly in rough shape and annoyed me every time I drove it; now that I have a beautiful perfect wheel that I thought would be a wonderful thing to look at, I "can't" see it. Seems that you only notice flaws, when it is good it just does its job!
