84 911 Cabrio

Just sharing.. picked up an 84 911 76k miles, Beige grey(62292) LSD 40%, Sports Seats, Full Tonneau cover, 16 Fuchs wheels... pretty excited to get this back on the road.
Two owners, current owner had his leg amputated so he couldn't drive this beaut anymore, so it was time to let someone else take care of her.
ANyways, just sharing the excitement, enjoy the pics:

Congrats! I am normally not a fan of the sugar scoop headlights but they really work on this car.

Great looking cab!

Nice '84. Nice and stock-looking. Love the blue plates.

Here's my '84. Removed the incorrect front spoiler, new valance. Lowered. Numeric shifter. Just went over 70K miles. Runs like a Swiss watch. I love the sugar scoops!

Thanks! The color is actually called pearl beige and was a paint to sample color, but yeah looks real close to yours. Is your top black along with your interior? Looks fantastic.

Here's a better pic of the pearl beige. I can see the grey come through on your car. Very sharp.

Only that everyone does it. I like the scoops because they are original and stand out in a lineup of other air-cooled 911s. Only things I did to my '84 was to undo the typical front-only spoiler 'upgrade,' lowered it to my liking and added a Numeric shifter. Driveline all sorted and just turned 70K miles.

That's on my list, get some suspension parts sorted out and tranny so it stays tight.
