What wheels/flares are these?

Ok, I thought this was strange. I've been looking for examples of impact bumper cars with black trim, but with chrome Euro headlight trim and I came across this. This is from a 1974/5 (I think) brochure. The car in question is the orange one. The front wheels look like earlier 5.5" Fuchs maybe, but the rears are wider. And the rear flares on this car are wider, closer to RS or SC flares maybe? (I'm no expert on this, clearly.) Here's the really weird thing. I found another version of the same pic, in another ad/brochure but the orange car is suddenly what looks like a 74 Carrera, side script and ducktail included. Looks they retouched the pic to make the Carrera into a regular old mid-year, but didn't bother trying to make the flares narrower. But the first two pics look like they have the wider flares and rear wheels, but no script or ducktail.

I recall the back dating of a 73RS from a turbo body to the stock RS body and the SC flairs would work but they weren't correct, requiring specifically RS flairs with a different roll of the edge.
From 30 years ago, forget the fine points but remember supplying the specific flairs.

The ;ics don't show the rear flares well. BUT here is what Porsche did. In 1974 they had a lot of "left over" non symmetrical edge 2.7 RS flares/ quarter panels. So about 240-260 of the first production 74 Carreras got these flares/ quarter panels. There are no records to be found which was the last one to get these.

After they ran out of the RS opening flares, a symmetrical shaped opening was implemented in the new stamping run and used on Carrera width rear from 74-89.
Space wise, there is no advantage to one or the other. A lot of us call these 8" flares since the comfortably accommodate 8" wide wheels (yeah yeah, I know; a 930 9" fuchs fits too, and some of your have squeezed a 10 x 17 / 18 back there too).

BTW there is no 9" PRODUCTION flare that was mass produced/ installed. The 72 ST had 9" flares that vary greatly in shape from Carrera and RS flares. So there I covered my butt by saying this

OK- so attached is a re post pic , from another Pelican, that shows the side by side difference on the opening details between the RS and post RS flare
