Cleaned up exhaust and polished tip
Took my entire exhaust off (exchangers to muffler) and had it sandblasted clean. Going to paint it all with VHT before putting it all back on. Polished the tip up with 800 grit sandpaper……….has a nice sheen, not too shiny. Car is platinum, do you guys think I should polish to a higher sheen or leave it as is?

Very nice job! I always use a product called Never Dull to maintain my vehicle(s) tips over the years. It helps remove the build up on the tip so I don't have to worry about the debris/road grim eating away at it. Anyways, be sure to post pictures once you get it back on your P car.

go get the wheel cleaner for CHROME WHEELS.
it works great too. sanding will take the shine off of chrome you can use it on aluminum but do NOT let it dry or stay on for very long. my heater boxes are chrome and it did wonders on them. I also use it on the backs of wheels, but again, don't let it stay on for very long.
